1. DESCRIPTION:

Sharpening a photo using the High-Pass filter and layer blending is a smart, non-destructive sharpening technique. It is easy, customizable and fully reversible. This free Photoshop action does the trick in seconds. There are two basic steps in this action:

You will be asked to enter a radius value for the high-pass filter. Usually a value between 2-4 is adequate.
When the action finishes, you can change the opacity of the Sharpening layer to fine tune the effect.
