The 'Out of Bounds' Photoshop contest was held in May 2009. It's theme was the popular out of bounds technique that shows the object popping out from the image.
The PanosFX Out of Bounds action was used as the basis for creating of the final OoB image in Photoshop.
The winner in both the committee's and members' votings was the "Getting ready for exhibition" image by Domani, who won a copy of the Comics actions.
The other winner was the "Hidden bridge" image by atmphoto, that ranked second in the committee's voting; the author won a copy of the Analysis actions.
Here's what Domani said about his winning entry:
"It was great fun to create this surrealistic picture using Panos Out of Bounds action. My intention was to show an image that looks completely natural at first glance. A closer look should reveal the impossibility of the situation and put a smile on the viewers face... OoB helped me a lot to create the framed areas and replace the background. I've never built a composition like this one in such a short time."
