A NON-DESTRUCTIVE SHARPENING METHOD

Type: Photoshop actions Free version Last Modified: January 2006

Sharpening photos using the High-Pass filter and layer blending is a smart, non-destructive sharpening method. It is easy, customizable and fully reversible. This action does the trick in seconds.

There are two basic steps in this action. You will be asked to enter a radius value for the high-pass filter. Usually a value between 2-4 is adequate. When the action finishes, you can change the opacity of the Sharpening layer to fine tune the effect.
