(*) Notes to Photoshop Elements users: PSE doesn't have Curves Adjustment Layers. You can use a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer instead, which you can then clip to the photo layer by holding down Alt (PC) or Option (Mac) and clicking between the two layers. PSE8 or older versions do not have layer masks. You can use the eraser tool instead.
1. DESCRIPTION
'Mona Lisa' (or 'La Gioconda') is probably the most famous painting in the world. The painting's popularity resulted in the creation of numerous modifications and caricatures.
Despite its title, the tutorial will not show you how to replace the original painting in the Louvre with a replica! It will show you how to modify the painting by replacing Mona Lisa's face with the face of your wife, your friend or even your mother in law.
From the educational perspective, the tutorial will show you how to use a number of non-destructive techniques while editing & modifying a photo.
