Save time when editing similar photos in Adobe Camera Raw
LEVEL: Easy
COMPATIBILITY: Requires Adobe Bridge & Adobe Camera Raw
Let's think of this common scenario: You've taken a number of photos of a subject, shooting with the nearly the same lighting & exposure settings. You want to improve the photos using the powerful tools of Adobe Camera Raw (ACR). You can spend your valuable time editing each individual photo, or you can take advantage of a single command that is a great time-saver.
In this example I took 6 photos using the same camera settings. The lighting conditions nearly identical. I begin by loading up Adobe Bridge to view these photos:

As mentioned at the beginning of this page I can go on by opening and editing the second image, then the third image, and so on. But this would take a lot of valuable time. Here's a simpler way to get the job done in three seconds. I'm selecting the other 5 images:

I'm right clicking on them and I'm selecting: Develop Settings > Previous Conversion

The previous adjustments were automatically applied to the selected photos:

Bridge offers you another powerful tool: you can copy the settings for an image (right-click on it and select Develop Settings > Copy Settings). Then you can paste them to one ore more images (select the images, right-click and select Develop Settings > Paste Settings).
