Shutterstock editor

A few weeks after the release of their new Photoshop plugin, the guys at Shutterstock strike back with more interesting news. A new button called "Edit" has been added next to the image download button. It will launch Shutterstock Editor, an on-line image editing app that facilitates the creation of professional, personalized visuals and designs, which you can use for your business, social media, and so forth.

You can find out more on their blog announcement:
Adobe released Photoshop Elements 15! One of the most interesting features is the incorporation of the new technology that lets you adjust certain facial features. This technology was made available to Photoshop CC users only recently (in CC 2015.5).

Another great news is that the serious PSE14 bug that affected many Photoshop actions, has been fixed in PSE15. If you decide not to upgrade to PSE15, note that I will continue to develop PSE14 compatible versions for all my free and commercial add-ons,

shutterstock PS pluginShutterstock, the well-known stock photography provider, released a very handy Photoshop plugin that makes their huge collection of photos and illustrations accessible within Photoshop.

The plugin lets you browse the existing collections and lightboxes. In addition, it lets you sign in to your Shutterstock user account and view the previously purchased or previewed images.

What I liked in particular is the ability to drag any watermarked image onto Photoshop and edit it; any edits you make are automatically stored and applied when you purchase the image!

You can preview / download the plugin here:

Adobe announced that those Mac users who are using an older MacOS version (10.9 or older) should upgrade to the latest OS version (currently 10.11) in order to continue using the Creative Cloud and Lightroom desktop apps. This will take effect from the next major release of CC apps, including LR and Bridge.
The percentage of users still on 10.9 is small. If you are among them, consider upgrading to the latest OS version to avoid any troubles. The upgrade is free: click on the Apple logo on the upper left screen corner and select "App Store".
