I need to eliminate the thin white border around the image when using Reflections. Have tried many things; no success. How is this done?

my first answer will be: read carefully what the action is promting to you :)
the information how to is provided in the second stop after openening a picture (third stop at all) the white boarder can be deactivated directly after the second stop :

Thank you for the reply.

Don't know why, but the pop-up you posted does not come up in any of the steps I am going through. Will try to post screenshots of the steps as I go through them. In all cases I made no adjustments because I just want a simple reflection below the photo with no borders.

Ah you use PSE , there are the screen different so you can't find my one.

it's the step you show in your last post > Here ( I hope) is Step 1. <

this screen says you CAN activate if you do not what is discribet there will be no border.

BTW: if you aplly a border to the photo, the reflection will have a border too !

are you german ?

are you german ?

My mother was German and I have a "sort of" German daughter. . . .she calls me her American Mum. She and her parents are my second family. Her mother is British and her father is German. (Too bad I studied Spanish and French instead of German!)

Anyway, here are my thoughts about that border issue. Hope it makes sense.

Hello Frizzylee

just setup an PSE and tried and i found the "problem" and the solution:

after that screen with the pop-up information you showed in your last post you MUST click on stroke AND move the SIZE slider to ZERO,
if not defaults will be applied and you get a border.

try please and give a feedback

You are brilliant! It worked. At first I was not putting a tick mark in the stroke box so, of course, I could not move the size slider. I was only twirling the little stroke triangle open. Once I sorted that out, it worked perfectly. The result is shown below. I am very happy with it. Thank you so much.

Yes, it is a wonderful shot. Wish I had taken it. :) I am doing a video for a photographer friend of mine. It's a challenge presenting her beautiful art in such a way that I showcase the photography without overwhelming it with the videography, you know? Panos Actions are a great help.

Again, my thanks.
