The Jigsaw Puzzles Photoshop actions transform your photos into static and animated jigsaw puzzles, offering you a remarkable range of impressive effects!
- You will create awesome static images of 2D & 3D puzzles with detachable pieces.
- You will create animated jigsaw puzzles and export them as video clips (animation and 3D are available in Photoshop CC & CS6 Extended).
- You can even export the PSD image to other software apps, such as other Adobe CC apps, Photodex Proshow, Pictures to Exe, etc.
The various effects are grouped into 2 categories: the 'Classic' and the 'Special' puzzles:
The 'Classic' puzzle effects:

The 'Classic' puzzle effects transform your photos into classic cardboard jigsaw puzzles. There are 14 different effects, creating puzzles with up to 210 pieces. • In the 2D actions each piece is an individual 2D layer. You can therefore detach, move and rotate a single piece or even groups of pieces! • In the 3D actions you define up to 30 different pieces that become individual 3D objects that can be moved, rotated and scaled independently! • The Animated puzzles actions turn your photos into animated puzzles, with 6, 20, or 72 pieces. |
The 'Special' puzzle effects:

The 'Special' puzzles actions produce jigsaw puzzles with creative shapes, such as spiral puzzles, hearts, diamonds, tangrams, and many more! • In the 2D actions each piece is an individual 2D layer. You can therefore detach, move and rotate a single piece or even groups of pieces! • In the 3D actions you define up to 30 different pieces that become individual 3D objects that can be moved, rotated and scaled independently! • The 'Animated' puzzles actions produce 12 different animations. |
Overall, the full version produces these effects:
- 2D Classic puzzles (14 different effects).
- 2D Special puzzles (24 different effects).
- Animated Classic puzzles (3 different effects).
- Animated Special puzzles (12 different effects).
- 3D Classic puzzles (14 different effects).
- 3D Special puzzles (24 different effects).
The Photoshop Elements version doesn't contain the 3D and Animated puzzles because 3D objects and animation are not available in PSE.
